Accepted by National Geographic magazine for its global "Chasing Genius Challenge," InfinitPipe technology can be deployed for reversing oceanic coral bleaching caused by global warming. Using a pump operated by wave energy, cooler water from deeper portions of the ocean is circulated to warmer shallow reef regions. This relatively low-cost, maintenance-free solution has gained enormous popularity as a possible way to reverse this disastrous global event.
